Here's your sign... College GameDay Edition, Week 10

In honor of upcoming Veterans Day, College GameDay was at the Air Force academy in Colorado for the Air Force Army Game. They opened the show with a tribute to the fallen soldiers in the tragedy at Fort Hood. The soldiers stood at attention in silence and 3 fighter planes did a fly over. Then the crowd went crazy! It was so moving.... ever notice how anything patriotic causes emotion to swell up inside of you?
This sign was great because it used ESPN call letters to remind us to thank our soldiers for their service to our country!
United States Department of Defense!
I loved the Lee Corso Signs!
Army's mascot is a group of mules....
Steelman is a player for Army... another shoutout to the gals I know that read twilight.

This sign made me laugh because I have a friend that went to Navy and the whole staff from Navy is at Tech now. The stories they have shared about the strict rules the academies have really made me wonder... is this sign just to be funny or were they really required to attend?
A fun academic joke... study hard or you'll end up at Army! This is a shout out for my mom... my Grandma's name is Mary Virginia...
I liked the feel of this sign.... It was referring to the undefeated and overrated team Iowa that lost yesterday!
So there were some signs for other schools: a couple Roll Tide signs, Go Gators signs... and this one was for Alabama's player Cody... and a reference to how LSU fans smell like Corndogs. I saved the best sign for last......You have heard of the controversy. Brandon Spikes a Florida Defensive player was caught on TV attempting to gauge out the eyes of a Georgia player. This makes me laugh... very clever! "Spikes 4 H"eyes"man" so funny!Have a great week!

For the record, as the maker of the "T. Steelman Reads Twilight" sign, its not a shout out to any girls. Just merely stating the fact that no straight guy reads that book.....only girls do...and him. Thus saying something about the army QB :D just so u know.

Thanks for reading! Last week we saw that Matt Barkley from USC reads twilight! I understand the joke... that is why I put it on there. I only said the shout out part for some of my regular readers. I appreciated your humor... hence my inclusion of your witty sign!

haha thanks. Ya, my four best friends from high school were at the Oregon game and said that the Matt Barkley sign was awesome and that is unfortunately didnt make it on the cameras so they said. And i figured it was a good enough idea to show again! :) the "Mandatory" sign was by far the best though.
